This past year has been a challenge for everyone. The travel business came to a screeching halt. Art became the new joy for me while travel has stopped.
I found a new passion for painting pet portraits, birds and Paris scenes.
and continue teaching art to my students in all sorts of new ways.
I love hosting artists for events and we were so successful in hosting many events during covid as we paved a new path forward wearing masks, cleaning everything and staying socially distant - all while enjoying, live music, wine and Art.
From the 52 artists on the shores of Lake Waconia this past September 2020.
October Day of the Dead clay skull classes,
November 2020 early Christmas event in Victoria - reservations and socially distant,
December an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest and clay handprint classes, Down Under fun weekend
Greek Art Event with Greek Music and Food trucks.
Georgia O'Keeffe and Matisse were fun Art Class escapes and our finale was the French Affair event and an MPR interview with on of our art hound favorite Ashley Dull. We've Laughed and painted, drank plenty of coffee and ate Ruby's Roost bakery goods. Victoria is a fun place to visit but we did out grow our space.
It's time to move on up... just 8 miles up.... to our new Art Gallery and Studios all set for so many events and classes... and still enjoy all the wonderful La Cucina goodies from Soaps to amazing Neri Olive Oils. Im working hard each day to get the space all set and ready to welcome you to classes, gallery shows and events.
So excited! See you soon on Lake Minnetonka. Warm Wishes & Peace, Sue
